JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Nissan Motor Indonesia decided to stop production and distribution activities Datsun in the Homeland, in January 2020. Currently, diler only sells car to use up existing stock only.
Based on data from the Association of Industries Motor vehicle Indonesia (Gaikindo), in its final period of delivery of Datsun cars from factories to dealerships, only around 226 units, with details of 64 GO + models, 150 GO models, and 12 GO Live models.
Datsun Cross as the newest product was retired, to be precise in August 2019 with a total distribution of 223 units.
Now in September 2020, Datsun stocks at several dealerships in DKI Jakarta and its surrounding areas have run out. Only certain dealerships still market cars, but in small quantities.
“This is just a matter of spending our stock, if we are serious, we can help because our dealership is already out of stock. We will look it up to another dealer,” said one Datsun salesperson when contacted. Kompas.com, Thursday (17/9/2020).
The average discount or discount given by dealers is Rp. 15 million. The highest discount is given to the Cross model in the range of IDR 30 – 40 million.
“GO and GO + can be Rp. 15 million, if Cross for certain types we can give Rp. 40 million (discount). But the DP is 35 percent because it is quite difficult to provide credit in the midst of a pandemic,” he said again.
For information, before officially saying goodbye, the last Datsun GO was valued at Rp. 112.09 million to Rp. 160.49 million. As for GO + from IDR 120.27 to IDR 157.91 million.
While the Datsun Cross is only available in two variants, the manual type is IDR 161.49 million and the automatic type is IDR 173.99 million.
