Beyoncé Reunites with Destiny’s Child Bandmates for Surprise Performance

In a highly anticipated reunion, Beyoncé, 43, brought her former destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to the stage during the final stop of her “Cowboy Carter” tour. The trio, who last performed together at Beyoncé’s Coachella headlining set in April 2018, delivered a powerful performance of some of their most beloved hits, including “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name,” and “Soldier.”

The reunion also featured a rendition of Beyoncé’s 2022 song “Energy,” complete with the viral “mute challenge.” Following a moment of silence, the women erupted in energetic celebration as Beyoncé sang, “Look around, it’s me and my crew. Big energy!”

Destiny’s Child, founded in Houston in 1997, initially comprised Beyoncé, Rowland, LeToya Luckett, and LaTavia Roberson. Williams and Farrah Franklin later joined the group after Luckett and Roberson departed due to disagreements with manager Mathew Knowles.Franklin’s departure in 2000 solidified the group as a trio.

Following Destiny’s Child’s immense success,Beyoncé launched a solo career,releasing her debut album “Dangerously In Love” in 2003. Despite their individual successes, Beyoncé, Rowland, and Williams have maintained a close bond, consistently supporting each other’s endeavors.

The “Cowboy carter” tour finale also saw surprise appearances from Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, and country star Shaboozey, adding to the star-studded event.
