As of April 11, and for the entire summer season, the American company Delta Air Lines has launched a new daily service between Geneva airport and New York-John-Fitzgerald-Kennedy airport. It will be provided on board a Boeing 767 with a capacity of 238 passengers. Passengers will be able to take off from Geneva at 12:50 p.m. and land at 3:25 p.m. (local time) in New York. In the opposite direction, the departure is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. from the Big Apple for an arrival at 10:50 a.m. the next day in the city of Calvin. Geneva airport thus continues to develop its intercontinental lines, an axis that is one of its priorities. This new connection should delight the diplomatic sector but also the tourism sector, because, according to the airport, demand for Switzerland from the United States should continue to grow.
