Death from influenza A (H1N1) and suspected case in Monastir


A death caused by influenza A (H1N1) has just been recorded, at the regional hospital Fattouma Bourguiba in Monastir, a second case is considered suspicious pending the results of the analysis, the agency said on Monday TAP, the regional health director, Moncef Houani.

In the first case, it is a 35-year-old boy from Teboulba who died in hospital on January 6. Post-death tests have confirmed the cause of death from the A / H1N1 virus.

After the deterioration of his state of health, the patient had been transferred from the local hospital of Teboulba, to the hospital of Monastir where he died, specifies the same source.
