David Beckham is reportedly buying a majority stake in Sheffield United, the English soccer club. The deal, if finalized, would make Beckham the club’s largest shareholder.
According to the Financial Times, Beckham’s investment group is in advanced talks to acquire a stake of over 50 percent in the club, which currently plays in the English Championship, the second tier of English soccer. the deal values Sheffield United at around £150 million (approximately $190 million).
