Daniela Aránguiz vs. Paulina Nin: Heated Exchange Over Scandals

Santiago, Chile – Daniela Aránguiz sharply responded to criticisms leveled against her by Paulina Nin, who recently labeled Aránguiz as “ordinary and poorly educated” following Aránguiz’s comments regarding Luis Mateucci on the television program You have to Say It. The exchange marks the latest in a series of public disagreements between the two Chilean television personalities.

Aránguiz addressed Nin’s statements during her return to the TVMAS program Follow Me, launching a direct counter-attack against the cheerleader and current television panelist. The program airs on Mondays through Fridays at 2 PM local time.

“I greatly admire her and her television career. Though, we cannot speak of impropriety when we ourselves have participated in the spectacle,” Aránguiz stated, referencing the frequently enough sensationalized nature of Chilean reality television. She specifically pointed to Nin’s past legal troubles.

“let’s recall numerous episodes, including one where she was arrested for public intoxication,” Aránguiz asserted. “Therefore, if we are discussing impropriety, I have never been detained for such reasons, nor have I experienced the scandals she has.”

Past Conflicts and Shifting Television Standards

aránguiz further highlighted a previous altercation between Nin and Savka Pollak, a Chilean actress and television personality, which occurred several years ago. A video of the 2013 incident, available on YouTube ( link), shows a heated exchange between the two women. “Many may remember Paulina’s fight with Savka Pollak, which was also quite scandalous,” she remarked.

Aránguiz also criticized the evolving standards of chilean television. “the show, my dear, isn’t the decent format of television you experienced in your youth. It was a more refined television, requiring a more composed demeanor.” She also referenced Nin’s past relationship with a younger man, stating it was “a super bad look” at the time.

“She has also participated in the show… and we’ve all had episodes of scandals and impropriety. The show is impropriety,” Aránguiz concluded. The conflict underscores the often-contentious dynamic within the Chilean entertainment industry and the blurring lines between personal conduct and public image. Both Aránguiz and Nin have built careers on reality television and commentary, frequently engaging in direct and often provocative discourse.
