Real Madrid Midfielder‍ dani Ceballos Sidelined with Hamstring Injury

MADRID – Real madrid will be ⁤without‌ midfielder‌ Dani ‌Ceballos for Sunday’s La Liga match against Getafe after‌ the 28-year-old sustained a hamstring⁢ injury during a training session ‍with the ‌club’s Castilla team on‌ or ‍shortly after October 8.

Ceballos did not join his international teammates during the recent break adn⁢ instead ⁢participated in a behind-closed-doors practice match between real Madrid’s senior squad and its reserve‌ team.⁤ The injury occurred‍ during or following that session.

As of Friday,⁣ Ceballos was working individually in the gym at Valdebebas, continuing ⁤his rehabilitation.⁢ His availability for Tuesday’s friendly against Juventus at the Santiago ‍Bernabéu is also uncertain.

While Ceballos has not been a ⁤consistent starter this season, his absence impacts Real‍ Madrid’s midfield depth⁢ and his ability to control tempo.

Club officials remain cautiously optimistic that Ceballos could‍ be fit for the October 26⁣ El Clásico against Barcelona, but ⁣his progress will be closely monitored, and the coaching staff⁤ will prioritize a safe return to‌ action.
