The story unfolded on TikTok, where Clara, the fan in question, detailed her year-long possession of the hat. Originally from Paris, Clara and a friend discovered the hat approximately 30 minutes after the Wicked premiere last year, taking it with them to prevent theater staff from discarding it, unaware of its owner. Unable to directly contact Erivo,Clara waited for an opportunity to return the item personally. “I kept the hat for a year and I just wanted to tell her myself and I didn’t know how to get a hold of her,” she explained in a TikTok video.
