Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic recently hosted a National Service Scheme (NSS) camp, emphasizing both environmental responsibility and personal well-being.

  • Environmental Stewardship: Volunteers participated in campus cleaning and plant watering activities.
  • Mindfulness Session: Instructor Lovlina led a session on mindfulness, welcomed by Principal Anil Kumar, NSS Officer Richa Kharbanda, and the volunteers.

Lovlina taught meditation exercises and underscored the importance of mindfulness in daily life, offering practical techniques to improve mental well-being. She explained that even a few minutes of daily mindfulness can significantly reduce stress and improve focus.

A second session addressed digital safety, with ASI Anil and ASI Baldev from the Cyber Crime Department speaking to volunteers and staff. They warned against emerging cyber threats and emphasized vigilance in online interactions and transactions.

Mukand Lal National College Conducts First Aid and Disaster Management Training

Mukand Lal National College in Yamunanagar organized a one-day training session on first aid and disaster management. The Youth Red Cross Cell, disaster Management Cell, and the Red Ribbon Club collaborated to host the event.
