Hunter‘s Mattison & York‘s Lefebvre Headline CUNYAC Women’s Volleyball Weekly Awards
New York, NY – September 16, 2025 – The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its weekly award winners for women’s volleyball today, recognizing outstanding performances from players across the conference. hunter College’s Lily Mattison was named Player of the Week, while York College freshman Zia Lefebvre earned Rookie of the Week honors. Brooklyn College’s Ruti Joshi received an honorable mention for her strong defensive showing.
Lily Mattison (Hunter College) continued her dominant play, earning player of the Week after a stellar performance at Muhlenberg’s Buttermaker Tournament. The senior middle blocker (from Fairfield, Conn.) recorded an impressive 36 kills and 16 digs over the weekend, adding six blocks and three aces to her stat line. Mattison’s standout games included 13 kills against St. Lawrence and 12 against the host Muhlenberg. She was also named to the All-Tournament
