Olympique de Marseille Appoints Corinne Diacre as New Women’s Team Head Coach
MARSEILLE, FRANCE – October 18, 2024 – Olympique de Marseille has officially appointed Corinne Diacre as the new head coach of its women’s team, the club announced today. The arrival of the experienced technician marks a significant step in the club’s ambition to elevate its women’s football program.
Diacre’s appointment follows the dismissal of Frédéric Gonçalves at the end of August, with Dalin Anrifani serving as interim coach during the transition.The club cited Diacre’s unique profile – combining international experience and in-depth knowledge of the high level – as key to her selection.
