Again, Ricardo Salinas Pliego He goes on stage and feels on his knees to his favorite puppet: “Uncle Richie”, a character created by himself.
The spectator guess what it is: a show that combines the fiscal drama with the media farce. It is a numbered and presented again and again.
The plot is simple: 74 billion pesos in fiscal debts that the tycoon refuses to settle.
“They want to steal my money from the government,” the president of his throat shouts from the bottom of his throat Salinas Groupand the monigote, “Uncle Richie”, barely moves his lips from where a proverbial cob that has won the nickname “the donkey teeth.”
And that’s when a very particular Greek choir appears: Ninfa Salinas Sada and María Laura Medina, daughter and wife of the protagonist of this farce, respectively.
To the point, these media shields strive to paint Salinas Pliego as a lighthouse of prosperity and employment.
Irony makes the public outburst.
And, while they recite their gross and studied praises, reality paints a picture of a different realism: That of an entrepreneur who confuses the generation of wealth with the avoidance of taxes.
And, just when the public is about to get infer of laughter, the puppet and the choristers shout: “This is political persecution!”
And that is when the spectators become serious, because that joke does not make any grace, and because they know that the narrative of the “political persecution” is as gross as a bad joke repeated until tiredness, an attempt desperately for victimizing when the only thing pursued is the fulfillment of the law.
Seeing that in the front row there is a group of women who remain serious, Ricardo Salinas Pliego and his monigote approach the proscenium and shout, at the same time, as crazy: “bitches”, “witches”, “server texts” or “putonas of well -being”.
And that has been, since the last six -year term, the farce that the owner of TV Azteca.
