Chile Secures Historic Table Tennis Gold at Bolivarian Games
Lima, Peru – December 1, 2025 – Teh Chilean women’s table tennis team achieved a landmark victory today, winning the nation’s first-ever gold medal in the sport at the Bolivarian Games.The team, representing Chile in lima, Peru, demonstrated exceptional skill and determination throughout the competition, culminating in a decisive performance in the team event.
This gold medal marks a significant milestone for Chilean table tennis, signaling a new era of success and raising the profile of the sport within the country. The victory is expected to inspire increased participation and investment in table tennis programs nationwide,fostering future generations of athletes. Chile’s path to gold included dominant wins over Bolivia (3-0), peru (3-0), and the Dominican Republic (3-0), followed by a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Venezuela in the final match. The winning team comprised Judith Morales, Tania Zeng, and Sofia Vega.
