Chile Secures Historic Table Tennis Gold at Bolivarian Games
Lima, Peru – December 1, 2025 – Teh Chilean women’s table tennis team achieved a landmark victory today, winning the nation’s first-ever gold medal in the sport at the Bolivarian Games.The team, representing Chile in lima, Peru, demonstrated exceptional skill and determination throughout the competition, culminating in a decisive performance in the team event.
This gold medal marks a significant milestone for Chilean table tennis, signaling a new era of success and raising the profile of the sport within the country. Chile’s path to gold included dominant wins over Bolivia (3-0), peru (3-0), and the Dominican Republic (3-0), followed by a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Venezuela in the final match. The winning team comprised Judith Morales, Tania Zeng, and Sofia Vega.
