Chanel and Tribeca’s Through Her Lens Program Celebrates 10 Years with A-List Stars

New York, NY – Meghann Fahy, Issa Rae, and a host of prominent actresses are supporting the 10th anniversary of “Thru Her Lens,” a program created by Tribeca Enterprises and CHANEL to champion emerging female and non-binary filmmakers. The three-day event, beginning Tuesday, September 16, and running through Thursday, September 18, in New York City, provides creative support, funding, and career opportunities for U.S.-based filmmakers.

This year’s workshop will feature script development, music composition, and costume design insights from Sarah Paulson, Kerry Washington, and Jane fonda. Candid conversations will be led by Lucy Liu, Olivia Wilde, and Tessa Thompson, among other industry leaders.The program culminates in a live pitch session where finalists present projects to a jury including Fahy and Rae, and also Jenny Slate, Allison Janney, and Kaitlyn Dever. One team will receive full financing to produce a short film with support from Tribeca Studios, while four additional teams will be awarded development grants.

rosenthal added, “Through Her Lens is about consistency, perseverance, and meaningful change – the kind that shifts the very fabric of our culture at a moment when it’s needed most.”
