Cardi B Announces Pregnancy, Expecting First Child with Stefon Diggs
New York, NY – Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B is pregnant with her fourth child, her first with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, she revealed Wednesday in a candid interview with Gayle King on “CBS Mornings.”
“I’m excited. I’m happy,” Cardi B shared, radiating positivity. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”
The artist highlighted the shared ambition she and Diggs possess, noting they both operate at the peak of their careers.”We’re both some of the greatest at what we do,” she explained.
Cardi B also spoke movingly about the emotional support Diggs has provided, particularly during a stressful period leading up to the release of her highly anticipated second album, “Am I the Drama?”, set to drop this Friday. She recounted experiencing a panic attack fueled by negative online commentary.
“Two weeks ago I was literally having a panic attack… people were coming at me very hard,” she confessed. “He makes me feel very confident.Feeling safe is feeling confident.”
This pregnancy marks a new chapter for Cardi B, who shares three children – daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 1, and son Wave, 4 – with her ex-husband, rapper Offset. Diggs also has a daughter, Nova, born in 2016, from a previous relationship.
The announcement comes after Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in 2024, following a brief but publicized marriage that began with a secret ceremony in September 2017. She initially filed for divorce in 2020, citing an “irretrievably broken” marriage, before reconciling with Offset.
Representatives for both Cardi B and Diggs have yet to issue a formal statement.
