Families across Canada are receiving enhanced Canada Child Benefit (CCB) payments today, with benefit amounts for 2025-26 seeing a notable increase. The Honourable Anna Gainey, Secretary of State (Children and Youth), announced that eligible families can now receive up to $7,997 per child under the age of 6 and $6,748 per child aged 6 through 17. This adjustment represents an approximate $200 rise from the previous year, aiming to alleviate the financial pressures of everyday expenses for parents and guardians.
