Brad Keselowski To Address RFK Racing Exit And Future At Martinsville
Brad Keselowski will address questions regarding his racing future and upcoming departure from RFK Racing during a media availability on Saturday morning at Martinsville Speedway, motorsport.com reported. The 42-year-old driver announced his plans on Tuesday after weeks of speculation surrounding his 2027 season.
Addressing the Martinsville Press Conference
The 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding his career path following a turbulent end-of-season announcement in September. Keselowski stated that he intends to clear up multiple questions during his scheduled appearance at the track.
The outpouring of support and interest in my future racing plans over the past few weeks has been truly humbling, said Keselowski in a released statement. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I know there are still questions and I plan to address several of them during my press conference Saturday morning at Martinsville Speedway.
The timing brings direct focus to the driver’s next steps as the current racing calendar moves deeper into the autumn playoff schedule. Keselowski joined RFK Racing ahead of the 2022 season as both a driver and co-owner, successfully lifting the organization back to a competitive tier.
Unresolved Roster Decisions at RFK Racing
RFK Racing has not yet announced its driver plans for the No. 6 car that Keselowski will leave vacant at the conclusion of the 2026 season. Team president Chip Bowers previously stated that the core disagreement leading to the split centered on Keselowski’s continued desire to drive versus the ownership group’s preference for him to concentrate entirely on management and competition duties.
Early rumors linking him to Kaulig Racing were quickly dismissed when that team shot the speculation down.
