The incident occurred in the Madelena neighborhood and was captured on security footage. The video shows Moreno and a friend walking wiht the console. as thay reached the end of the street, two armed assailants attacked them. Moreno reportedly fired shots in self-defence but succumbed to his injuries after multiple attempts to rise.

Residents of the area have expressed concern, stating that this is not an isolated event. They allege that a criminal group has been luring individuals to the same block under the guise of sales, only to rob them. One resident, Andrea Torres, noted that criminals take photos of houses and send false location details, exploiting the neighborhood’s seemingly calm appearance to trap unsuspecting sellers.

Following the fatal robbery, the community organized a peaceful protest, demanding increased security measures. Residents are calling for the installation of a fence or wall in the area to prevent criminals from easily escaping into the Tunjuelito district. Paola Pedraza,a teacher and resident,emphasized the pervasive impact of the insecurity,stating that no one can sleep peacefully due to concerns for the safety of children,the elderly,and the community at large. The neighborhood also lacks alarm systems, leaving residents feeling vulnerable.
