Body Found in Search for Missing Illinois Teen, Aiyana Williams
YORKVILLE, Ill. – A body has been discovered in the search for 16-year-old Aiyana Williams, who has been missing since last week from suburban Yorkville .
Yorkville police announced Sunday morning that the body was found in the primary search area. Williams was last seen on june 17th near Fawn Ridge Court in the Country Hills subdivision. Authorities have conducted extensive searches, utilizing the Illinois Search and Rescue Council and multiple law enforcement agencies.
The body was located during a drone operation early Sunday. While police have not yet confirmed the identity of the deceased, thay described the discovery as “tragic” and are requesting the public avoid the Country Hills subdivision.
