Actor Accused of Extortion Amidst Jealousy

A popular Indonesian actor, Muhammad Rayyan Alkadrie, known as MR, is facing accusations of extortion from his same-sex partner, identified as IMT. Law enforcement officials suggest that jealousy fueled the alleged crime, highlighting complications in the relationship.

Key Development

According to police reports, Rayyan became envious upon discovering that the victim, IMT, was involved with another man. This jealousy purportedly led to the alleged extortion attempts.

“Jealousy with the victim because the victim has a relationship with other men,” stated AKBP Muhammad Firdaus, Head of Criminal Investigation at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, on Thursday.

The investigation revealed that Rayyan and the victim had engaged in sexual relations multiple times, with police uncovering six pornographic videos featuring the two men. As of the latest update, Rayyan is a suspect and is being held at the Cempaka Putih Police Headquarters.

Victim’s Perspective

The case surfaced after the victim reported the incidents, stating he could no longer tolerate the constant demands for money accompanied by threats to disseminate compromising material.
