Bill Clinton Thanks Jerry Jones for $10 Million Foundation Gift
In ball you talk about, you get past that first or second quarter. Then when the third quarter and fourth quarter comes, you got to refresh up and get going and get another punch so you can finish the game. So we want to give money today to the Clinton Library particularly aimed at, if you will, the Clinton School for Public Service,
Jerry Jones said. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and former President Bill Clinton appeared together on Monday at the Touchdown Club to announce a $10 million donation from the Jones family to the Clinton Foundation.
The announcement took place during a packed meeting at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, drawing a crowd of 3,000 people that organizers described as the largest in the club’s 22-year history. While Jones and Clinton talked mostly about football during the event, the unexpected financial gift was revealed to support the modernization and renovation of the Clinton Presidential Center in downtown Little Rock.
Clinton Presidential Center Renovations and Educational Expansion
According to former President Clinton, the $10 million in funding will be used to renovate the Presidential Library, expand the Clinton School of Public Service, and create a records archive for former First Lady and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who also attended the Monday event. Funding will likewise enhance educational facilities that house programming for students of all ages, teacher resources, adult and civic learning, and the Clinton School of Public Service, which is part of the University of Arkansas System. The updates will enable the center to teach more visitors, host international leaders, and put on exhibits.
Jerry Jones is an American sports icon – someone who has competed at the highest level and won, without ever losing sight of where he came from,
Bill Clinton stated.
Jerry Jones Donates to Modernize Presidential Center
Jerry Jones emphasized his ties to Arkansas during the luncheon, highlighting the role the state played in shaping his life and success. It is one of my greatest honors to stand next to President Clinton and be able to make this donation with my wife, Gene, and our family,
Jones said.

The Gene and Jerry Jones Family and the Clinton Foundation joined together for the announcement, marking the first time in over 20 years that the Clinton Presidential Center will undergo a transformative modernization.
