Ben Affleck reportedly experienced “extreme embarrassment” while observing his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez‘s performances during her 2025 “up All night: Live” singing tour.According to Heat magazine, lopez’s tour, characterized by bold visual presentations and energetic dance routines, generated controversy and drew criticism from some, including Affleck.
A source close to the star of “The Accountant” indicated that Affleck believes Lopez is “stuck in her old ways instead of evolving.” The insider added, “Naturally, a son watches all of this from a distance and feels embarrassed, and he’s grateful he’s no longer obligated to back her up in these kinds of situations.”
The source further elaborated on Affleck’s perspective, stating, “He knows her well and understands she won’t take criticism easily. Jennifer is very proud of herself and won’t outwardly show she’s affected, but she undoubtedly feels hurt when some label her as ‘thirsty.'”
Additionally, Affleck was reportedly “angry” upon hearing Lopez’s new song, which some interpreted as a “revenge track.” The song was first unveiled during a private listening session with a select group of her fans.
Despite these sentiments, the source clarified that Affleck has no intention of publicly criticizing Lopez. Instead, he views her recent actions as further confirmation that she is “immature and not a suitable emotional match for him.”
