Bella Czajkowski: NYT Stringer & Essen Health Care Editor

Bella Czajkowski has been hired as a reporter for MMM Online, the publication announced Tuesday. Czajkowski joins the team after serving as newsletter editor for Essen Health Care and as a metro stringer for The Latest York Times.

Her previous role at Essen Health Care involved the creation and distribution of newsletters focused on healthcare updates and information, according to MMM Online. As a metro stringer for The New York Times, Czajkowski reported on local news events and contributed to the newspaper’s coverage of the New York metropolitan area.

Recent publications from the I. Medizinische Klinik und Poliklinik at the University of Kiel (UKE) detail ongoing research into Hepatitis E virus prevalence and primary sclerosing cholangitis, among other areas. A study published in J Hepatol in 2026 examines the correlation between cirrhosis, age and the risk of hepatocellular carcinoma in individuals with primary sclerosing cholangitis.
