NBA G League United Defeats japanese B.LEAGUE Teams in Global Invitational
Tokyo, Japan – September 14, 2025 - NBA G League United emerged victorious from the “B.LEAGUE GLOBAL INVITATIONAL 2025,” a two-day international kind series against teams from Japan’s professional basketball league, B.LEAGUE.The matches, held September 12th and 13th, provided a valuable competitive experience for Japanese clubs as they strive to elevate their game on the world stage.
The series kicked off on Friday,september 12th,at Open House Arena Ota in Gunma Prefecture,where the Gunma Crane Thunders put up a strong fight but ultimately fell to NBA G League United with a final score of 87-91.
The following day, Saturday, September 13th, saw a highly anticipated matchup between Alvark Tokyo and NBA G League United at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO in Koto-ku, Tokyo. The game was a nail-biter,extending into overtime before Alvark Tokyo was defeated 95-108. Despite the loss, the game showcased the growing talent and competitive spirit within the B.LEAGUE.
