AVISO: Presentation of the speakers of the “Austria vaccinates” initiative

Media event on Monday, January 11, 2021; Red Cross initiative supported by the federal government

Vienna (OTS) On Monday, January 11, 2021, “Austria vaccinates”, the nationwide initiative to educate people about corona vaccination, started by the Red Cross and supported by the Austrian Federal Government, will be presented at the Federal Chancellery. This initiative will provide broad and objective information about the benefits of the corona vaccination in the coming weeks and months. For this purpose, the five spokespersons of the initiative, all of them highly respected experts in their respective fields, will provide transparent and medically sound information about the mode of action, safety and importance of the corona vaccination.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Markus Müller – Rector of the Medical University of Vienna, specialist in internal medicine, chairman of the medicinal product evaluation commission in the main association of Austrian social insurance institutions

Univ. Univ. Prof. Dr. Herwig Kollaritsch – Specialist in specific prophylaxis and tropical medicine, specialist in hygiene and microbiology, court expert and vaccination expert, member of the national vaccination committee

Dr. Eva Höltl – Occupational medicine, head of the scientific advisory board of the Austrian Academy for Occupational Medicine and Prevention, board member of the Austrian Society for Occupational Medicine, head of the health center of ERSTE Bank AG

Location: Congress Hall, Federal Chancellery, Ballhausplatz 2, 1010 Vienna (entry to the Federal Chancellery from 10 a.m.)
