Bus Crashes into Liquor Store in Auckland’s Silverdale
A bus collided with the Silverdale Liquor Center in Auckland,New Zealand,at approximately 8:00 PM local time. Emergency services responded to the incident,with four fire trucks and a support vehicle dispatched to the scene.
According to Fire and Emergency New Zealand, they were alerted to the crash shortly before 8:00 PM. The owner of Silverdale Liquor Centre, who was not present during the incident, reported that the bus impacted their building.
The neighboring Bendon store also sustained damage as a result of the collision. Fortunately, no staff members within the liquor store were injured.
Police have confirmed that two individuals sustained moderate injuries.A section of silverdale Street remains closed to traffic as authorities work to recover the bus.
