Aspyr has fixed the game-destroying bug in Knights of the Old Republic 2

We have previously reported that there was a game-destroying bug in the porting of Knights of the Old Republic 2 to Switch. The game turned out to crash in a movie sequence in the latter part of the adventure. As a result, KOTOR 2 simply could not be completed. Aspyr has previously said that they are working on fixing the bug and that the players will for the time being use a cheat to get past the film sequence. Now, however, the developers announce the good news that they have succeeded patch and fixed the bug in the game.

Knights of the Old Republic 2 was released in 2005 and developed by Obsidian. The game has become a bit of a classic, but is also known for being stressed and bugged.
