The series stars renowned Kabuki actor Nomura Mansai as tamio Yakaku, the long-standing, seemingly complacent section chief of the Sales Division. Yakaku is portrayed as a character who often appears disengaged, even during critical sales negotiations.

The narrative takes a sharp turn when a power harassment scandal erupts within Tokyo Kenden, specifically targeting Sakado, a highly successful salesman played by Kataoka Ainosuke. The Power Harassment Committee delivers a controversial and seemingly unjust punishment to Sakado, leaving employees deeply unsettled. the series explores the underlying motives behind this decision, revealing a complex web of secrets and corporate intrigue. The initial examination is led by external counsel from the law firm Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.
