CONTAKU: A Party of Japanese Pop Culture
The AMO Kulturhaus is hosting the 21st annual CONTAKU trade fair, a vibrant celebration of Japanese pop culture. Attendees can explore anime, manga, cosplay, games, art, and culinary delights. The event features performances, an exhibitor area, a games room, and a unique maid café experience.
CONTAKU runs from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. Tickets are available starting at 15 euros here.

History and Heritage at the Ravelin 2 Fortress
The historic fortress at Ravelin 2 in Maybachstrasse will be open to the public,showcasing a variety of groups dedicated to preserving and celebrating local history. Exhibits will cover monument preservation, military history, city history, photography, and nature. Lectures, music, and gourmet food options will also be available.

Chorfest: A Celebration of Vocal Music
The Saxony-Anhalt choir association is hosting a summer choir festival, “Mundly in the green,” at the Monastery Mountain Garden to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Parking Jubilee. The festival, beginning at 10:00 AM, will feature performances by various choirs and vocal workshops.

Mega Malle Open Air: A Taste of Mallorca in Magdeburg
The Elbauenpark will transform into a lively “Ballermann” atmosphere with the largest Mallorca open air event in Eastern Germany. Performers include Vanessa Mai, Peter Wackel, Knossi, Ikke Hip Gold, and Julian Sommer.
