Alberta Ferretti Channels intimate Elegance for Spring/Summer 2026
MILAN, Italy – Alberta Ferretti presented a Spring/summer 2026 collection in Milan inspired by the effortless style of iconic hostesses, emphasizing cozy sophistication over social media spectacle. The collection, unveiled today, featured dresses and skirts adorned with beads and baubles, paired with fringed moccasins, evoking a relaxed yet refined aesthetic.
Creative Director Max Serafini explained the collection was born from envisioning “the most perfectly dressed host for today,” prioritizing “comfortable quality time in an intimate scenario.” He cited sofia Coppola, Stella tennant, and Tina Chow as key inspirations, aiming for a tribute to “free spirits” and a rejection of overt display. “Tina was one of the highest hostesses. Nothing nostalgic. I wanted a homage to these free spirits. I wish we had more of them nowadays,” Serafini stated.
The presentation coincided with the opening of Alberta Ferretti’s new Milan flagship store on Via Spiga 26, in the heart of the Quadrilatero della Moda. The two-level boutique is designed to resemble a “wardrobe-living room,” featuring custom resin flooring and walls, Canaletto walnut and brass furnishings, and ivory bouclé daybeds, creating an immersive brand experience.
