Bavarian Finance Minister Hosts Neumarkt women’s Groups at State Parliament

Munich, Germany – November 20, 2025 – Approximately 50 members ‌from the ​neumarkt ⁢catholic Women’s Association and​ the Neumarkt Women’s Union met with Bavarian⁢ State Minister Albert Füracker today at the ‌Maximilianeum, the⁤ seat ‍of the Bavarian Parliament. The visit provided​ an⁢ chance to discuss key financial matters⁤ impacting the district ​and the state.

The meeting⁢ centered on current state and ‌local political issues, notably the recent increase in municipal ‍financial ⁣equalization ⁢funds allocated to Neumarkt, now totaling‌ 12.83 ​million euros. This ⁤funding is crucial ​for local infrastructure and services, and⁤ the discussion offered the women’s groups direct insight‍ into ‌the budgetary processes shaping their community.‌ Füracker’s invitation underscores a commitment ⁤to transparency and engagement with constituent groups.

Füracker emphasized his ​dedication ‌to responsible fiscal policy, stating, “My goal​ is always to set up a balanced budget without new debt.” He highlighted the state’s success in achieving this balance alongside⁢ a record investment rate of 17 percent, aimed at ‍securing Bavaria’s future economic strength.
