Bavarian Finance Minister Hosts Neumarkt women’s Groups at State Parliament
Munich, Germany – November 20, 2025 – Approximately 50 members from the neumarkt catholic Women’s Association and the Neumarkt Women’s Union met with Bavarian State Minister Albert Füracker today at the Maximilianeum, the seat of the Bavarian Parliament. The visit provided an chance to discuss key financial matters impacting the district and the state.
The meeting centered on current state and local political issues, notably the recent increase in municipal financial equalization funds allocated to Neumarkt, now totaling 12.83 million euros. This funding is crucial for local infrastructure and services, and the discussion offered the women’s groups direct insight into the budgetary processes shaping their community. Füracker’s invitation underscores a commitment to transparency and engagement with constituent groups.
Füracker emphasized his dedication to responsible fiscal policy, stating, “My goal is always to set up a balanced budget without new debt.” He highlighted the state’s success in achieving this balance alongside a record investment rate of 17 percent, aimed at securing Bavaria’s future economic strength.
