Collaboration Unveils “Itinerant Design Capsule”
Airstream, the acclaimed American brand of aluminum caravans, is partnering with the **Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation** to produce a special product, the “Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian Limited Edition” caravan. This project involved designers delving into the archives of the American architect **Frank Lloyd Wright**.
The initiative will craft what is being called an “itinerant design capsule.” A total of 200 of these caravans are set to be made. These trailers can house up to four people, day or night. The caravan has 29 windows.
“Mixing modernity of technology… with the famous Airstream style, they were able to create this caravan.”

The collaboration is set to bring an elevated travel experience. Caravan sales have risen, with the market projected to reach $76.4 billion by 2030 (Statista 2024).
Inside the Luxurious Caravan
The interior is cleverly designed. The caravan’s front features a dining area that can transform into an office and secondary sleeping space. The kitchen features a large gas stove with three burners, a 226-liter refrigerator, and a sink. At the back, there’s a room with twin beds convertible to a king-size bed with the push of a button.
The interior design is contemporary. Furniture in light wood tones pairs with a green water velvet on the wall, a beige floor, and a floral pattern on certain surfaces.
The luxurious caravan is set to launch in 2026. Buyers will have to pay roughly €171,000, plus import costs from the United States. This caravan provides an original design, inspired by **Frank Lloyd Wright**.
