After weeks of tugging, it is apparently clear: RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer (27) is also drawn to FC Bayern Munich.
Accordingly, there had been contact between the clubs in the past 48 hours, which had agreed on a transfer fee of allegedly less than 16 million euros.
Sabitzer had already reached an agreement with the Munich-based company.

The Austrian national player and RB captain should no longer be in the squad for Leipzig’s Bundesliga game at VfL Wolfsburg (5.30 p.m. / DAZN).
After coach Julian Nagelsmann (34) and defender Dayot Upamecano (22), Sabitzer would be the third Red Bull to be drawn to FCB this summer.
As a possible (medium-term) replacement, Ilaix Moriba (18) from FC Barcelona is about to move to Saxony. The midfielder is said to be loud for Tottenham Hotspurs Sky have given a rejection and announced the wish to move to Leipzig.
