A storm turns daytime into night

The Argentine city of Rio Quarto was subjected to a sudden and violent dust storm that led to the collapse of rooftops and trees, as well as the sun’s rays.

The locals observed a black cloud directly heading to the city of Rio Quarto, at which time the temperatures decreased significantly, and darkness prevailed after a strong dust storm reached a speed of 120 km per hour. In a matter of minutes, a violent dust storm invaded the city, causing heavy rains of up to 37 mm in some areas. On Sunday, temperatures rose to 30 degrees Celsius in some areas before the strong dust storm, which also caused power outages.
