The Division 2: Anniversary Showcase, Year 8 & Resurgence News | Twitch Drops!

Massive Entertainment will host a 10th Anniversary Showcase for the Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise on March 3rd at 9 AM PT / 6 PM CET, detailing plans for the future of The Division 2 and offering a first look at upcoming content.

The showcase, to be streamed on the Division’s Twitch channel, Ubisoft’s YouTube channel, and The Division 2’s Steam page, will focus on the game’s upcoming Anniversary Season, which will feature exclusive, time-limited content including a “Realism Mode” and recent in-game gear. The event will also outline Year 8 plans for The Division 2, provide an update on the development of the standalone experience Survivors, and reveal details about Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, a mobile title.

Viewers tuning into the showcase will have the opportunity to earn Twitch Drops, available until March 10th at 3:59 PM PT / 11:59 PM CET. Rewards include an Anniversary Cache for 30 minutes of viewing, the Decade Arm Patch after one hour, another Anniversary Cache after two hours, the Phoenix weapon skin after three hours, and the Fay Lau backpack trophy after four hours of watching.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, released on March 15, 2019, is an online open-world action shooter RPG set in a post-viral Washington, D.C., developed by Massive Entertainment using an updated version of the Snowdrop engine. The game received the narrative expansion Warlords of New York in March 2020, and the expansion Battle for Brooklyn on May 27, 2025, marking content for the game’s seventh year. Recent events in the game included the Mutiny season, with stretch goals detailed as recently as February 16, 2026, and the Bloody Valentine event, running from February 12th to February 19th, 2026, offering exclusive Twitch drops.

Ubisoft has recently collaborated with other franchises, including an event celebrating Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and a crossover with Assassin’s Creed, demonstrating a continued effort to engage players with fresh content. The company also highlighted community initiatives, such as fundraising for cancer research, alongside seasonal events like the Winter Event in December 2025.
