Honor will launch its Magic V6 foldable phone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on March 1, alongside the debut of a humanoid robot and a new “Robot Phone,” the company announced this week.
The early launch of the Magic V6 is notable, as Honor typically releases new foldable devices in the latter half of the year. The Magic V5 was launched in August 2025. Leaks suggest the Magic V6 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and feature a battery capacity of approximately 7,000 mAh.
Beyond the Magic V6, Honor will similarly showcase the MagicPad 4 tablet and the MagicBook Pro 14 laptop at MWC, both of which will emphasize artificial intelligence features and an ultra-thin design. However, the company’s foray into robotics is generating significant attention. A teaser video released by Honor shows the Magic V6 reflecting the image of a robotic hand.
Honor has been teasing its “Robot Phone” for months, but the company’s ambitions extend beyond a single device. Bloomberg previously reported Honor’s entry into the humanoid robotics space. Details about the robot itself remain scarce, with Honor only offering a cryptic teaser and the statement: “We’ve combined cutting-edge robotics with the ultimate mobile experience. The result? Something you have to see to believe.”
The company’s move into robotics represents a significant expansion beyond its traditional consumer electronics offerings. Honor has invested heavily in AI development in recent years, but robotics presents a more complex engineering challenge than large language models, requiring operation within a physical environment.
Honor’s strategy, built upon its “Alpha Plan,” aims to integrate advanced hardware with innovative software, encompassing both high-end devices and robotics. The company will present its new products on March 1st in Barcelona.
