50 Cent has escalated his public feud with Jim Jones by posting surveillance footage appearing to demonstrate Jones forcibly attempting to enter a studio space formerly used by the rapper. The footage, shared on Friday, February 20, on 50 Cent’s Instagram account, depicts a man identified as Jones kicking a door repeatedly in an apparent attempt to gain access.
The incident, timestamped February 19 at 2:30 p.m., allegedly occurred at a studio previously occupied by Jones, according to 50 Cent’s accompanying caption. A document seemingly displaying a lease termination notice is visible affixed to the door in the video. 50 Cent wrote, “Damn bro this wouldn’t happen if we was friends, wanna be friends? I don’t know let’s rap about it! LOL,” referencing Jones’ podcast, “Let’s Rap About It,” co-hosted with Maino, Dave East and Fabolous.
Jones responded to the post with a video of his own, showcasing his physical strength by breaking wood with his hand, accompanied by martial arts-themed emojis and the self-proclaimed moniker “KunFu Jim.”
50 Cent further intensified the conflict by posting an image of himself with the building’s landlord, claiming ownership of the property. “Sam is my partner I own the joint, now your gonna fix every door you kick or I’m gonna kick ya a*s jimmy by Monday, your destroying my property,” he wrote. This claim, reported by Complex, suggests a recent business arrangement between 50 Cent and the landlord, potentially related to the eviction of Jones. VICE reported that 50 Cent allegedly entered into business with Jones’ landlord, further amplifying the dispute.
Representatives for Jim Jones have been contacted for comment, according to XXL Magazine.
