RHOC’s Meghan King Accuses Ex Jim Edmonds of Harassment by Sex Workers

Meghan King, a former star of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” reported alleged threatening phone calls to the Kirkwood Police Department in Missouri in September 2025, and during that report, she accused her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, of previously leaking her phone number to sex workers with the intention of harassment. Edmonds’ representative vehemently denies the claim.

According to a police report obtained by multiple news outlets, King stated she had been receiving threatening calls for two months, with the intensity escalating in the days leading up to her visit to the station. She told officers the caller made “crazed overt threats” and spoke in a rambling and erratic manner, threatening harm to both King and her children. Two voicemails left by the unknown individual, listened to by the responding officer, contained repeated threats of physical violence and claims that King would face jail time.

King told police she had briefly engaged with the caller before blocking the number, but the harassment continued with recent numbers being used to send messages. During the conversation with police, King referenced an ongoing and contentious custody dispute with Edmonds. She alleged that Edmonds had engaged in harassment through third parties in the past, specifically claiming he had previously distributed her phone number to numerous individuals, including sex workers, and instructed them to harass her.

The police report details King’s statement that, “after an overwhelming wave of phone calls and texts, she received a text from a number not known to her, which included a photo of the text sent by [Jim] containing instructions to harass her.” The Kirkwood Police Department initiated an investigation into the threats, issuing a department-wide email requesting increased patrols around King’s residence.

The allegations surfaced as King and Edmonds navigate a complex custody battle over their three children. In recent months, King temporarily lost physical custody of her children following an investigation by Child Protective Services, according to reporting by Us Weekly. A school employee initiated the CPS investigation. A hearing was scheduled for early December 2025 to determine the future of the custody arrangement.

As of December 8, 2025, a custody agreement had been reached, according to a statement from Jim Edmonds’ representative, Steve Honig, to Us Weekly. Honig stated the agreement was “in the best interests of the children,” but did not disclose specific details. Prior to the agreement, reports indicated King had been granted supervised visitation while Edmonds had sole physical custody.

Jim Edmonds’ representative, Steve Honig, dismissed King’s recent allegations as “absurd,” stating that Edmonds is currently focused on raising his children in Tennessee and has “no time for such nonsense.”
