Vince McMahon: Bodycam Footage of 100 MPH Crash Released

Dashcam and bodycam footage released Friday reveals the moments before and after a high-speed crash involving former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Chairman Vince McMahon last July. The Connecticut State Police released the video following a Freedom of Information request, according to multiple reports.

The footage, originally recorded on July 24, 2025, shows McMahon’s Bentley Continental GT Speed swerving on Route 15 (the Merritt Parkway) in Westport, Connecticut, before colliding with a BMW driven by Barbara Doran and then striking a guardrail. Police say McMahon was traveling at speeds exceeding 100 mph at the time of the incident.

In the bodycam footage, a state trooper confronts McMahon, who remained in his vehicle with deployed airbags. “I’m trying to catch up to you and you keep taking off. You almost hit, I think, 115 miles an hour,” the trooper states in the video. McMahon responded that he was not attempting to evade law enforcement and explained he was on his way to visit his granddaughter for her birthday.

“I’m trying to drive. I haven’t been driving my car in God knows how long,” McMahon is heard saying even as handing over his insurance papers. He added, “God d**n it. Stupid f****ng fool,” and described the Bentley as “too fast,” stating he hadn’t driven that particular vehicle in some time.

The crash resulted in Doran’s BMW being propelled over 100 yards, according to a social media post she made following the incident. McMahon declined medical attention at the scene and reportedly asked officers if anyone else was injured, later approaching Doran to apologize.

McMahon was subsequently cited for reckless driving and following too closely. He appeared in state Superior Court in Stamford in October 2025, where he was granted entry into a pretrial program. As part of the agreement, McMahon was ordered to donate $1,000 to charity and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance. If he successfully completes the program, the charges will be dismissed, according to reports.
