The ITTF World Para Future Gold Coast 2026 commenced today at Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium in Gold Coast, Australia, marking the first event of the 2026 ITTF World Para Circuit. The tournament, running from February 16th to 18th, is Australia’s first international World Para Circuit table tennis event.

The event is designed to provide crucial international competition experience for emerging Para athletes, serving as a pathway toward the Paralympics and World Championships. Australia’s commitment to high-performance excellence, inclusion, and accessibility is being showcased through hosting the tournament, according to Table Tennis Australia.

The Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre is hosting the competition. Classification services are being provided for all players needing them, requiring submission of a Consent Form and Medical Diagnostics Form at least one month prior to the tournament start date, as outlined by the ITTF.

Organizers are seeking volunteers to support the event, requiring a valid Working With Children Check and availability for at least four shifts between February 13th and 18th, 2026. Volunteers will receive meals during their shifts, but are responsible for their own transportation.

Accommodation options are available on the Gold Coast, ranging from hotels and apartments to budget-friendly choices near the venue.
