by Priya Shah – Business Editor

A new educational application, “YABC,” developed by KOUAME NGUES, is now available for a range of Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. The app, sized at 23.8 MB, requires iOS 15.1 or later for iPhone and iPod touch, iPadOS 15.1 or later for iPad, and macOS 12.0 or later with an Apple M1 chip or later for Mac. It is too compatible with visionOS 1.0 or later for Apple Vision Pro.

According to the app’s listing, YABC is designed for users aged 18 and over and is offered in English. The developer indicates that the app’s privacy practices may include handling of user data, specifically contact information such as email addresses, names, and phone numbers, though these practices have not been independently verified by Apple.

The release of YABC coincides with the availability of iOS 15.1, initially released in October 2021, and subsequent updates. Apple’s iOS 15.1 update included features like SharePlay, allowing users to share experiences during FaceTime calls, and support for ProRes video recording on iPhone 13 Pro models. The update also added the ability to store Covid-19 vaccination cards in the Apple Wallet app and included various bug fixes and security enhancements. Users are advised to back up their devices before installing any software update.

Prior to the official release of iOS 15.1, Apple recommended users ensure their devices had at least 50% battery life and approximately 6-7GB of available storage space. The update can be installed either over-the-air (OTA) or through iTunes. The release of iOS 15.1 followed the initial launch of iOS 15, and subsequent updates have continued to refine the operating system.

The YABC application joins other apps developed by KOUAME NGUES, including “ImmOver Business View” and “ImmOver Pro Business View,” as well as “Shty,” described as a travel application. Apple has also released updates to other operating systems, including macOS Monterey, tvOS 15.1, and watchOS 8.1.
