Jayne Trcka, a former bodybuilder and actress best known for her role as Miss Mann in the 2000 comedy film “Scary Movie,” died from heart and circulatory issues, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The medical examiner determined the immediate cause of death to be hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, complicated by a left femoral fracture. Chronic alcohol employ was listed as a contributing factor, and the manner of death was ruled accidental.

Trcka, 62, was found unresponsive in her San Diego home in December, after a friend, unable to reach her by phone for several days, visited the residence and contacted emergency services. First responders pronounced her dead at the scene, as reported by multiple news outlets.

Prior to her acting career, Trcka was a competitive bodybuilder in the 1980s. Her work in fitness led to appearances in magazines including Flex, MuscleMag International, and Women’s Physique World. She transitioned to acting with her role in “Scary Movie,” which subsequently led to appearances on television shows such as “The Drew Carey Show” and “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” She also worked as a realtor in California.

The circumstances surrounding the femoral fracture were not immediately detailed in the medical examiner’s report.
