Racecourse Media Group (RMG) has appointed Matt Rogan as a Non-Executive Director.


Teh co-founder of Two circles has joined the board of ​the media rights organisation, which represents 37 British racecourse ‌shareholders. Rogan previously spent a decade growing the agency into a global leader in sports marketing and analytics, serving as CEO and Executive Chair.

He currently focuses on board advisory work, holding positions with‍ production company Whisper, ⁢sports equipment brand Built for ⁤Athletes, and performance data specialists Twenty ⁢First Group.rogan also sits on the Major ⁣Events Panel for UK Sport, which advises ⁢on hosting major sporting⁢ events and National Lottery awards.

Matt ⁢Rogan, Non-Executive Director, RMG, said, “I’m ⁤delighted to be joining Racecourse Media Group at a engaging time for horseracing. Seat Unique has ‍extended its partnership​ with‌ Gloucestershire cricket for a further four ‍years.

The agreement ⁣continues a relationship​ that first began in 2021.

The partnership centres on the club’s commercial ticketing ‍and hospitality activity, using Seat Unique’s platform ⁤to sell premium⁢ matchday experiences. Since 2023, around one-third of Gloucestershire Cricket’s orders have come from first-time buyers purchasing via the platform.‍ Seat Unique ‌has introduced more than 1,600 online customers⁣ to the club as the partnership started.

Gloucestershire Cricket has reported ⁤growth in ‍online engagement during the period. As 2022, the‌ number of digital sessions relating to the club has increased by 121%, with around 40% of orders taking place‍ outside standard working hours.

demand for premium‍ seating at cricket‍ fixtures has continued to rise. Using Seat Unique’s technology and marketplace, the club has converted‌ 90% of its available premium inventory into early ⁢sales for⁤ the England v India men’s international T20 scheduled for Bristol in 2026.

Industry ​data shows⁤ increased appetite for hospitality ⁢across live sport, with global sports hospitality revenue up year-on-year.
