RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada, Reno celebrated 15 graduating student-athletes in a ceremony held Saturday, Dec.6, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Lawlor Events Center. A livestream of the event is available on the UniversityS YouTube channel.
These graduates represent a diverse range of academic disciplines and athletic achievements, highlighting the continued success of Wolf Pack student-athletes both on and off the field. The graduating class includes honorees such as 2024-25 doc Martie award winner Youssef Kadiri (Men’s Tennis), Abby Parks (Women’s Swimming and Diving), a two-time 2025 All-Mountain West selection, and football standouts Stone Combs and Nelson Ropati. Their accomplishments underscore a broader trend of academic excellence within Nevada’s athletic programs.
The academic performance of Nevada student-athletes has steadily risen in recent semesters. Preliminary data indicates a GPA of 3.278 this past spring,building on previous marks of 3.183 in Fall 2024 and 3.147 in Spring 2024.Official gpas for the Fall 2025 semester will be finalized after Commencement.
