New Music Video Calls for Land Restoration, Highlights ‍Work ​of Native Seed⁣ Collectors

NOVA XAVANTINA,⁤ MT – Brazilian singer-songwriter Socorro Lira has released a⁣ new music video, “Give Land ‍to Earth,” in collaboration with Redário,​ a network ‌of over​ 2,500 native seed collectors, and‍ the Social and Environmental ‌Research institute (ISA). The release aims to amplify⁤ the importance of large-scale ‍forest restoration through‍ the ‌use of high-quality, locally-sourced seeds.

redário connects 27 ​networks across‍ 11 states and ​the Federal District, ​focusing⁤ on four‍ key biomes. the organization provides seeds tailored to specific restoration projects, supporting numerous community-based initiatives. ISA, a ⁤non-profit founded in 1994 and designated as ⁣an Organization of Civil Society of‍ Public Interest (OSCIP), serves as an ‍executive producer of the project alongside Hammock farm.

Lira, a veteran ⁤of the Brazilian music scene with over 20 years of⁤ experience and a 2012 Brazilian ​music Award for her album “Lua Bonita ⁣- Zé do Norte, 100 Anos,” integrates themes of literature, ancestry, social justice, and environmental activism into her work. Her new ⁤album continues this tradition, combining‌ music and action to promote ecological awareness.

The ⁣song credits include music by Alison Menezes, art direction,⁣ sound production,‌ and ‍vocals⁤ by Socorro Lira, music arrangement‍ and production by‌ Cynthia Janco, scheduling by Gigi Magno (Eletrola Productions Studio), acoustic percussion by Valentina Pacuri, baritone⁢ saxophone by Chico Macedo, and choral⁤ work by Jaque⁤ da Silva,‍ Fabricio Mascate, Alldry Eloise, and João Maia. ⁣Recording was handled by Beto Mendonza (Studio 185), incorporation by Riccardo ‍Vinini, and mastering by Homero ‍Lotito (Reference Mastering Studio).​
