Onuachu Continues Goal-Scoring Run, Etches Name in Trabzonspor History
Trabzon, Turkey – November 29, 2025 – Paul Onuachu continued his prolific form for Trabzonspor, scoring twice against Konyaspor in the 14th week of the Trendyol Super League and leading his team to a comeback victory. The Nigerian international’s performance further solidifies his impact as joining the Black sea club.
Onuachu opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, converting a penalty awarded after Ernest Muçi was fouled in the box. This goal marked his 22nd successful penalty conversion from 24 attempts throughout his career, maintaining a 100% record from the spot for the past four years. He than added his second goal in the 51st minute, skillfully dribbling past defenders and finishing with a precise shot following a pass from Mustafa Eskihellaç, bringing the score to 2-1.
The striker’s brace also places him in exclusive company within Trabzonspor’s history.Sence the 2000/01 season, Onuachu is only the third foreign player to reach 11 goals in the Super League by the 14th matchday, following in the footsteps of Trezeguet and Nwakaeme.
