Title: Isles’ Boxing Team Wins Nine Medals at National Championship

Port ⁢Blair, Nov.⁣ 28: ​The Andaman and Nicobar ‌Islands’ boxing team delivered⁣ a stunning performance at the 8th National Boxing Championship 2025, securing a total of ⁣nine medals at the event held from November 21st ​to 24th at SM boxing Club, Alipur, Delhi. The championship, organized by the Boxing Progress Federation of​ India, featured competition‍ across U-12 Sub Junior, Youth, and Senior Men & Women categories.

This remarkable showing underscores the growing strength of boxing within the islands and ⁤highlights the dedication⁢ of ​its ⁣athletes and coaches. the success provides a significant boost to the sport’s profile in the region, possibly inspiring increased participation‍ and investment in boxing programs. ⁢The team’s achievements are⁣ expected to fuel further development and competitive opportunities for young boxers‍ in⁢ the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Leading the charge was coach Bikram ‍Pariyar from Mayabunder, who not only guided the team to success but also clinched ‍the India Champion Title ⁤Fight and was recognized as the​ best coach of the championship.
