1.”Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” – Streaming Dec. 12 on netflix
Daniel Craig returns as the brilliant Benoit Blanc in the third installment of the acclaimed “Knives Out” series. This time, Blanc tackles “the impractical murder of Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin) at a small-town church in upstate New York,” investigating the crime within a sealed room alongside a young priest, Jud Duplenticy (Josh O’Connor). A meta-reboot of the 1997 classic, ”Anaconda” delivers action, comedy, and horror. Jack Black and paul Rudd star as Doug and Griff, who travel to the Amazon to film an amateur remake of the original film, only to find themselves facing a real, giant anaconda. steve Zahn and Thandiwe Newton also feature in this thrilling adventure.
7. “song Sung Blue” – In Theaters Dec. 25
Based on the 2008 documentary of the same name, this film tells the story of Mike and Claire Sardina (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson), who performed as the Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder in Milwaukee, WI. The film chronicles their “soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together,” and is named after diamond’s 1991 hit song.
