Billie Eilish’s Concert Doc Heads to Theaters in 3D

Billie ⁤Eilish​ Concert Film, Co-Directed with James Cameron, Set for Paramount Release

LOS ANGELES – A concert documentary capturing Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard ‍and Soft tour is heading to theaters via ⁣paramount, with a unique twist: it will ⁣be released in 3D. The ‍film marks ⁣a collaboration between ⁤the‌ singer and acclaimed⁤ director James Cameron, known for Titanic and ​the Avatar franchise.

The‍ project, a​ partnership between Darkroom‍ Records, Interscope Films, ‌and Lightstorm Entertainment, is slated for release on March ⁢20, 2026.Eilish ⁣announced the ‌news on ​Instagram, expressing her excitement about co-directing with Cameron, calling it “a dream come true.” “HIT ME HARD ‍AND SOFT: THE TOUR‌ (LIVE IN 3D) coming to theatres on march 20th 2026 !!!! 🥳🥳🥳 this has been one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and​ being⁤ able to capture it and ⁢co-direct this ⁤film with‌ @jamescameronofficial has ‍truly been a dream come​ true. can’t wait for you all to see it :’)🎥⭐️🤭💙,” she wrote.

This venture builds on Eilish’s existing documentary work, including⁣ Billie Eilish: The⁤ World’s a Little Blurry and⁢ Happier Than ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.​ The ‍ Hit⁣ Me Hard and Soft ⁤tour concluded Sunday ⁤night in San Francisco.

Cameron is simultaneously ⁤preparing for the December 19 release of Avatar: fire and Ash, the third installment in his‌ Avatar series. Eilish⁢ initially teased the 3D⁢ collaboration ‍during a concert in Manchester, England, over the summer, stating she was working on “something⁣ vrey, very special” with cameron and that the audience was‍ “part of⁣ a thing that I am making with him.”
