DRESHER, PA – Ascensus Chief Information Security Officer Alex Petrow has received a 2025 Top Global CISO Award from Cyber Defense Magazine, recognizing his outstanding leadership in safeguarding the company’s digital infrastructure against escalating cyber threats.
Petrow, a veteran of Ascensus since 2011, has spearheaded the company’s cybersecurity evolution through a period of considerable growth, including 40 acquisitions and increasingly complex technology systems. His direction resulted in Ascensus achieving multiple global security certifications and exceeding industry benchmarks in independent security assessments.
Beyond internal advancements, petrow contributed to industry-wide security improvements by helping establish the SPARK Data Security Oversight Board, where Ascensus continues to actively participate in developing and promoting best practices for the recordkeeping sector.
